Touring in Hungary cancelled due to new pandemic regulations

The Summer Festival in Budapest cancelled our performances Henry the 4th (dir. Victor Ioan Frunză) and Swan Lake Revisited (dir. Kokan Mladenović), which were supposed to be presented on September 3rd and 4th 2020 on the Városmajor open-air stage. The Hungarian authorities banned the access of foreign citizens in Hungary, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.

The festival started on June 1st with over 100 cultural events scheduled to take place during the summer months.

The performances were adapted for an open-air stage. Nevertheless, the last-minute cancellation was caused by the Hungarian Government's decision to inforce new restrictive measures in order to protect the population from the coronavirus infection.
